AirTS industrial heating units are designed for warehouses, manufacturing plants, logistics centers, workshops and other high-ceiling buildings where conventional heating systems may struggle to distribute warm air evenly.
Our industrial unit heaters support different installation layouts and heat sources, including hot water, steam and electricity. Ceiling-mounted and side-mounted configurations help deliver heated air directly to occupied working zones while reducing unnecessary ductwork and floor-space occupation.
For facilities with different ceiling heights, airflow distances or temperature requirements, AirTS can recommend a suitable industrial space heating unit based on building height, floor area, available heat source and operating conditions.
| Product Type | Best For | Installation | Main Feature |
|---|---|---|---|
| AirTS-D Recirculated Air Heating Unit | High-bay factories and warehouses | Ceiling-mounted | Hot water/steam heating and downward air distribution |
| AirTS-DM Louvered Heating Unit | Lower industrial buildings | Ceiling-mounted | Suitable for approximately 4–6 m spaces |
| AirTS-SD Side-mounted Heating Unit | Long-span workshops and warehouses | Side-mounted | Air supply distance ≥26 m |
| AirTS-ED Electric Heating Unit | Projects without hot-water or steam systems | Ceiling-mounted | Electric PTC heating |
| AirTS-FD Fresh Air Heating Unit | Facilities requiring heating and ventilation | Ceiling-mounted | Fresh air + heating |
| AirTS-HD Humidifying Heating Unit | Production environments requiring humidity control | Ceiling-mounted | Heating + humidification |
Choosing an industrial heating unit requires more than comparing heating capacity. For warehouses, factories and other high-bay buildings, the heating system should be selected according to the building structure and operating conditions.
Building Height and Floor Area
High-ceiling buildings require sufficient airflow throw to deliver warm air into the occupied zone instead of allowing heat to accumulate near the roof.
Available Heat Source
If your facility already has a boiler or central hot-water system, a hot-water or steam heating unit may be suitable. Where these utilities are unavailable, an electric heating unit can simplify the system configuration.
Installation Position
Ceiling-mounted industrial unit heaters save floor space and are suitable for open production areas, while side-mounted heating units can be advantageous in long-span facilities requiring horizontal airflow.
Fresh Air Requirements
Factories with ventilation requirements can consider fresh-air heating units rather than relying only on recirculated indoor air.
Temperature and Humidity Requirements
Certain manufacturing, food processing and storage environments may require heating combined with humidity control.
Heating a high-bay warehouse or factory is different from heating a conventional commercial room. Warm air naturally rises, which can create temperature stratification between the ceiling and occupied working areas.
AirTS industrial heating units are designed to improve air circulation and deliver heated air toward working zones. Depending on the building layout, ceiling-mounted downward-airflow units or side-mounted long-throw units can be selected to improve heat distribution.
For large facilities, the system can also be divided into heating zones so that different production or storage areas can be controlled according to actual operating requirements.
Suitable for facilities with an existing hot-water system and centralized heating infrastructure.
A practical option for industrial plants where steam is already available as a utility source.
Suitable for projects where hot-water or steam piping is unavailable or where electrical heating provides a simpler installation option.
Designed for industrial buildings requiring both space heating and outdoor air introduction.

Since 2005, AirTS has focused on HVAC solutions for high and large spaces. In addition to equipment supply, our team supports system selection and energy-saving project design for industrial and commercial facilities.
For project evaluation, customers can provide:
Building length × width × height
Project location and outdoor winter temperature
Required indoor temperature
Available heat source
Workshop or warehouse application
Fresh-air requirement
Existing heating system, if applicable
Based on these conditions, our engineers can recommend the appropriate heating unit type, installation position and system configuration.
Send us your building dimensions, ceiling height, project location, available heat source and required indoor temperature. Our HVAC team will help evaluate a suitable heating unit and system layout for your facility.
